1. Plant something. Urgh falling behind on this. Seems like my life is in either creative, gardening or cleaning mode. Right now I am on a creative run so I am going with it. The garden is suffering a little but hey ho.
2. Harvest something. Oh yeah! Oranges, chard and lots of peas :)
3. Preserve something. Nope, nothing lasts that long. Maybe once I get more plants in and get more of the garden converted to edibles?
4. Prep something. I am feeling a cleaning phase coming. Getting fed up with the state of the house but like I said I have lots of creative work right now that needs my attention so it'll have to wait a little longer.
5. Cook something. Haven't tried much new in this area, but I want to have a go at making my own seitan soon, and Dahl Makhini.
6. Manage your reserves. Been pretty good in this area recently. Especially using leftovers, and using perishables.
7. Work on local food systems. Keep meaning to get out to the farm for eggs and fresh produce but I haven't needed much produce with the garden producing now.
8. Reduce waste. Going well! The landfill bin is barely 1/4 full each week! This week we only had 1 trash bag in there!
