Food waste April 4th - 10th
- 1 tomato - composted
- 1/2 block tofu
Had a clear out in the fridge last week, looking at items I hadn't used recently and finding a tupperware of tofu in the back of the fridge was a surprise! I've been pretty good at using those 1/2 blocks recently but out of sight out of mind I guess! The tomato was the soft bits of 2 tomatoes I used the other bits in a salad.

Gosh, that's pretty good going. Well done!
What is it with tofu?
How do you store yours once opened to get it to last as long as possible - do you change the water or leave it?
And how long do you keep it before throwing out? I've never quite mastered it, so err on the side of caution as I think it smells pretty vile even when fresh!
